Community Guidelines - CriApp

CriApp is a space for parents, caregivers, and expectant parents. The community works when we all contribute with respect and empathy.
1. Be respectful
Treat others as you would like to be treated. Parenting is diverse: single-parent families, two-mother/two-father families, adoptive, foster, grandparent-caregivers; varied parenting styles (attachment, Montessori, traditional, mixed); feeding choices (breastfeeding, formula, mixed); medical approaches (conventional, complementary); religious and cultural beliefs.
Prohibited:
- Personal insults, ad-hominem attacks.
- Hate speech (race, gender, orientation, religion, disability, nationality).
- Harassment, intimidation, threats, doxxing.
- Body shaming, fat shaming, mom shaming, parent shaming.
- Coordinated bullying.
- Stalking on or off the app.
2. No direct medical advice
CriApp is not a medical-consultation platform.
Allowed:
- Sharing your personal experience.
- Citing public sources (WHO, AAP, CDC) with links.
- Asking general guidance.
Prohibited:
- Recommending specific medication doses to other users.
- Giving medical diagnoses based on third-party-reported symptoms.
- Suggesting non-conventional treatments as substitutes for pediatrics.
- Promoting pseudo-scientific products (unproven supplements, controversial alternative therapies, anti-vaccination content).
If someone describes an emergency, recommend calling professional medical services.
3. No real names of minors
Do not post real names of children in the community. Per COPPA, GDPR-K, and LGPD Art. 14.
- Use nicknames, initials, "my little one".
- Public recipes, posts, and comments must NOT contain a child's real name.
- Strong recommendation: avoid uploading identifiable photos of minors, or use a privacy sticker.
4. No spam, no unauthorized promotion
- Do not promote products, services, brands, your own app/blog/channel without prior authorization.
- Do not send identical repeated messages.
- Do not use the community for commercial outreach.
- Do not post phishing, malware downloads, or suspicious links.
Exception: you may mention generic products when relevant ("I use brand X diapers"), without commercial intent.
5. No sensitive or toxic content
Prohibited:
- Sexually explicit content.
- Graphic violence.
- Glorification of abuse, self-harm, suicide.
- Promotion of alcohol, tobacco, drugs.
- Gambling.
- Doxxing.
- Copyright-protected material without authorization.
- Hate, terrorist, or political-violence content.
- CSAM: zero tolerance. Automatic report to NCMEC (USA), INHOPE (EU), SaferNet (Brazil).
6. Report and block
6.1 How to report
Tap Report on a post or comment. Select reason: spam, hate, harassment, medical-advice, child-name, csam, other. Block the user if you prefer.
6.2 Moderation SLA
Reports reviewed within 24h. Urgent cases (CSAM, threats to minors, imminent risk) within 1h after hours and immediately during business hours.
6.3 Moderation actions
- Content removal.
- User warning (strike 1).
- 7-day suspension (strike 2).
- Permanent suspension and account closure (strike 3).
- Report to authorities in CSAM or imminent-threat cases.
6.4 Three-strike policy
- Strike 1 - Formal warning + content removal. Visible in user's own profile only.
- Strike 2 - 7-day suspension + final warning.
- Strike 3 - Permanent account closure. No access to data. Prior export allowed under request (30 days).
Severe cases (CSAM, real threats, doxxing) result in immediate closure without strikes.
6.5 Moderator role
Moderation team operated by authorized staff under NDA. Apply the Guidelines consistently. Decisions documented and auditable.
7. Loss and sensitive topics
CriApp supports families experiencing pregnancy, neonatal, or infant loss. Be especially careful:
- Do not use minimizing language.
- Do not offer unsolicited religious explanations.
- Respect spaces marked as sensitive.
- Screens labeled "loss support" may contain potentially triggering content; opt-in on first access.
8. Privacy
- Respect other families' privacy.
- Do not disclose information shared privately or in closed groups.
- Do not screenshot identifiable data and post it outside CriApp.
9. Moderation, CSAM, removal rights
CriApp reserves the right to:
- Remove content that violates these guidelines.
- Suspend or close repeat-offender accounts.
- Report to authorities in CSAM or threats-to-minors cases.
CSAM policy: zero tolerance. Any report is immediately notified to:
- USA: NCMEC (CyberTipline.org).
- EU: INHOPE.
- Brazil: SaferNet.
- Other: local equivalents.
CriApp cooperates with valid orders from child-protection authorities.
10. Appeals
If your content was removed or account suspended and you believe it was an error:
- Email moderation@criapp.smarthuaraz.cloud within 30 days.
- Reasoned response within 14 days.
- If the decision is upheld, you may appeal once more with additional arguments (additional 14-day resolution).
- For permanent CSAM-related suspensions there is no appeal.
11. UGC EULA
By posting content you represent:
- You own or are authorized to use the rights.
- No third party (including the other parent) has objected.
- You accept the license described in Terms §5.
- CriApp may modify content for format (compression, rotation, translation).
